Meet The Team
Laura joined the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa in the summer of 2019 and brought twenty years of experience in hospitality with her. Having worked in both the corporate and wedding industries, Laura’s little black book full of trusted suppliers made the journey with her.
Laura looks after the wedding team and a number of the weddings here and loves that no two are the same. She also loves seeing what is important to each couple for their big day and hearing their engagement stories.
Having looked after more than a thousand weddings in her time, some of Laura’s stand out moments involve unicorns, a red Vera Wang bridal gown, mariachi bands, prima ballerinas, drag queens and an RAF fly past.
Joining the Events Team in April 2019, Kayleigh has worked in hospitality for six years and is currently studying Festival and Events Management with Marketing at university. Originally starting as a waitress serving weddings, Kayleigh has also helped plan charity events and worked at Dunhill before starting at the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa through her university placement.
A direct point of contact for our couples, Kayleigh provides all the information about our weddings and organises our in-house events such as whisky tastings. Her favourite part of the job is seeing the wedding party’s outfits and the excitement on our couple’s faces. The whole day is so special to be a part of.
Starting as the Events Team Administrator, Lucy quickly fell in love with planning events and all things wedding related before being promoted to Wedding Specialist. Having been with us for two years, Lucy often tells us that the favourite part of her job is helping each couple have the wedding day of their dreams by creating memories that last a lifetime.
Lucy is on hand to take care of each couple all the way through their planning journey, leaving no stone unturned to deliver the perfect day.
In her spare time, Lucy enjoys being a competitive cheerleader.
