St Andrews Day

St Andrews Day celebrations are big in our town. The main event is The Big Hoolie event which is a street party in the centre of the town – there is usually live music, an outdoor ceilidh, food and craft stalls, a torchlit procession and fireworks on the beach. The fireworks can be seen from our hotel so we encourage potential visitors to book a table in our Road Hole Restaurant, Road Hole Bar or Swilcan Loft as they will have front row seats. Or even better book a room and watch the display from your balcony!
