Meet The Chefs

Tom Kerridge

Few chefs have transformed British dining quite like Tom Kerridge. The acclaimed chef, restaurateur and television presenter is renowned for his honest, flavour-led cooking and warm, approachable style.

As chef patron of several celebrated restaurants, including the two Michelin-starred Hand & Flowers in Marlow, Tom has become one of the most recognisable figures in British food. His cooking champions outstanding ingredients, bold flavours and the comforting dishes people love, all executed with exceptional skill and attention to detail.

For our Chef Series, Tom brings his passion for great produce and memorable hospitality to two exclusive events, each showcasing a different side of his culinary style.

Coinneach MacLeod, The Hebridean Baker

Coinneach MacLeod, known around the world as The Hebridean Baker, has captured hearts through his celebration of Scottish baking, island traditions and life in the Outer Hebrides.

Through bestselling books, television appearances and a devoted online following, Coinneach shares recipes inspired by family heritage, local ingredients and the landscapes of Scotland's islands. His distinctive combination of baking, storytelling and warmth has made him one of Scotland's most beloved food personalities.

His Chef Series event offers guests the opportunity to experience his baking first-hand while enjoying the stories, songs and traditions that have inspired his remarkable journey.

From Source to Plate

At the heart of the Old Course Hotel Chef Series is a celebration of Scotland's exceptional produce and the people behind it. Ahead of each event, we take our guest chefs beyond the kitchen to meet the growers, farmers and suppliers who help shape our menus.

To prepare for his October event, Coinneach MacLeod, The Hebridean Baker, visited Blacketyside Farm to sample the season's berries before heading to West Sands Beach to forage along the shoreline, drawing inspiration from the landscapes and flavours that have long influenced Scottish food culture.

And ahead of his November appearances, Tom Kerridge explored some of our finest local producers, visiting George Campbell & Sons Fishmongers, Pittormie Farm and Langraw Farm near St Andrews. From exceptional seafood and freshly grown produce to prized Highland cattle, the visit offered a first-hand insight into the quality, provenance and craftsmanship behind Scotland's remarkable larder.

These experiences help inspire the menus, creating a deeper connection between the food on the plate and the stories behind it.
