This exciting Chef Series celebrates our passion for great food and indulgent moments in the unforgettable setting of the iconic Road Hole Restaurant. Our Executive Chef, Craig Winsborough, will welcome internationally acclaimed guest chefs to design menus inspired by the finest local ingredients, offering world-class dining experiences that showcase culinary excellence.

 

 

An Evening with Rachel Allen

Join acclaimed Irish chef Rachel Allen for an intimate evening celebrating the heritage of Irish country house cooking, infused with the distinctive Ballymaloe twist. As a special guest experience, Rachel will be cooking on the night, personally introducing each course and engaging with attendees. Drawing inspiration from the legendary Myrtle Allen and Ireland’s rich culinary traditions, she presents comforting, seasonal dishes that blend elegance with authenticity.

 

Following the overwhelming response and a sold out original event, a limited number of additional tickets have been released. These new tickets include an overnight stay, allowing guests to relax and fully savour the experience.

Meet The Chefs

Rachel Allen

Rachel Allen is a much-loved Irish chef and TV personality, known for her friendly, approachable style and deep roots in Irish cooking. Inspired by her grandmother-in-law, Myrtle Allen, she blends traditional recipes with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Rachel has written numerous cookbooks and taught at Ballymaloe Cookery School, sharing her passion for wholesome, comforting food with audiences around the world.

Alex Dilling

American chef Alex Dilling, from London’s Hotel Café Royal, kicked off our Chefs Series with an exclusive dinner featuring his signature take on French haute cuisine. Currently heading the kitchen at London’s two-Michelin-starred Hotel Café Royal, Alex brought together classical techniques with modern flair. Passionate about using seasonal ingredients and bold flavours, he created dishes that were both sophisticated and approachable, making for a truly memorable dining experience.
