Something Old, Something New …
Marriage Awareness Week counts down to Valentine's Day – and the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa in St Andrews is staging its own 'Marriage Awareness Day' for those planning to tie the knot later this year … or in 2014.
On Sunday 24th March, the five red star resort invites all those who are planning their weddings this year – or next – to visit the hotel for a unique event. Kylie Thomson of the resort explains: "Our award-winning hotel hosts more than 50 weddings every year, so we know exactly how to ensure any couple's wedding is delivered to perfection … from their arrival with their big day ahead, to the honeymoon departure and the beginning of a long and happy marriage together."
A graduate of Napier University, Kylie is "passionate about weddings" and leads the resort's team to oversee all planning. Kylie adds: "Weddings are all about individuals saying "I do". We want couples to say "We will" - and come and experience what is new at this iconic resort. Our Marriage Awareness Day will showcase the entire resort – and our team will be on hand to answer any questions couples may have regarding their own ideas for their very special day." The Marriage Awareness Day will run from 11-4 on Sunday 24th March. Kylie concludes: "There's no charge, and theres no need to make a reservation. Just pop in. We very much look forward to welcoming brides and grooms to be."
