Old Course Hotel Wins Thistle Award
The five red star Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa in St Andrews has been recognised as the 'Best Hotel' in Scotland's Central South & East Region.
The iconic hotel in the home of golf was recognised as having "a proven track record and evidence of exceptional customer care" by the judges at the VisitScotland Thistle Awards.
Richard Pinn, Regional Director at of Visit Scotland, explains: "The accommodation sector is intrinsic to Scottish tourism. Representing the largest sector of tourism by spend, the hotel experience is a key contributor to many visitors lasting impressions of Scotland. This award recognises the pursuit of excellence in customer service, care and creating a memorable experience. The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa provided the judges with both qualitative and quantitative measures as evidence of their exceptional work in this field – and we congratulate the entire team."
