Where can I book my round on The Duke’s St Andrews?
Bookings can be made for The Duke’s by completing our golf request form or contacting Resort Reservations on +44(0) 1334 474371.

How can I arrange my golf itinerary for my visit to St Andrews?
Our team of golf stewards (golfstewards@oldcoursehotel.co.uk) will be delighted to offer expert advice on which courses to play and make the reservations on your behalf.

Do I need a handicap to play the golf courses?
A handicap of 24 for gentlemen and 36 for ladies is required to play on the Old Course. The starter will require a copy of your handicap certificate before play.
How can I enter the daily ballot for the Old Course?
Our golf stewards will be delighted to enter you into the daily ballot for the Old Course. The ballot is drawn the day before play (Saturdays for Mondays). They will require details of your handicap and home golf course.

How do I get to the various courses in St Andrews?
Our golf stewards offer a transfer service to The Duke’s St Andrews and to the St Andrews Links courses.

Where can I warm up before my round?
Practice areas are available both at The Duke’s St Andrews and the St Andrews Links courses.

Are buggies available on The Duke’s St Andrews?
Yes. Buggies are available year round.

Is it possible to hire golfing equipment?
Certainly, we have Callaway & Titleist golf clubs and shoes available for hire.

Is golf instruction available?
Our team of golf professionals offers lessons and courses suitable for complete beginners to the more experienced players.

Where can I buy golfing equipment, clothing & souvenirs?
Visit the Pro Shops at the Old Course Hotel and at The Duke’s St Andrews, the only PGA-approved pro shops in St Andrews. Golf enthusiasts can choose from world-leading brands, including Bobby Jones, Ashworth, Callaway, Lyle & Scott, Ralph Lauren and Cutter & Buck.
